Late, but Angela is done for now.

I need to work on my shadows . . . and do a crash coarse on metals in Photoshop. Still, I like what I managed to do with this project.

Angela - Gargoyles

Angela from Gargoyles. Here I am thinking older, in human years around 50ish, or around 100 o so in Gargoyle terms. Gargoyles age half the pace of humans due to them turning to stone in the day. In the series she was around 20ish.
Occupation - Gargoyle Special Forces (GSF) created to maintain peace between Gargoyles and Humans given a large increase in gargoyle numbers.

Angela - Gargoyles

Ill be drawing Angela for the new challenge, since I always loved the Gargoyle series. I will be going for an aged looked in a future scene.

Bad Company "work in progress"

Pretty rough, and I didn't get it all done the way I wanted, but I really did leave my comfort zone behind with this one. Some time soon I will get back to it, but overall I like the progress made. Onto the next challenge!

Bull

Kinda pushed this off until the last minute but this is what I was able to pull off in a few hours. The design is based on Disney's 1938 short Ferdinand the Bull. I took a shot at adding color but wasn't getting results I liked so I'll just leave it at this clay like material.

B for Butcher final

Here's my butcher final. Kinda a big leap from my last post to this. Didn't really have time for color comps and stuff so I just went at it.

Butcher

Heres some ideas for the letter B, Butcher

definitely procrastinating as well. I like both the middle and right one. Thoughts?

Barge

Hey guys, I decided to go with barge for my subject. I like the idea of a floating junk barge. I'm trying to figure out what I'm going to do with composition. Definitely procrastinated on this one.

Arctic Tomb Final?

Hey guys, I did some more work on my piece but I'm still not satisfied with it. Time to move on to B.

A for Archer Final

Thanks for the feedback guys. I think It really made a difference. I pumped up the contrast in areas I wanted the eye to go and softened up edges and toned down contrast in the back. I think this helped give a better initial read. On to B!

Also I changed the format to the original blogger format... I prefer it. what do you guys think?

the Aquarium

Meh... should probably have chairs

Anvil - German with "Chuch Windows"

I am a little bummed I was unable to try this out with my Wacom. Despite that though, I am happy with what came out, just need to raise the bar with the upcoming letter B.

Acrylics + Water Color

Alien

So I decided to work on Mr. Bat Ears and somewhat pleased with what I came out with. As I worked on this guy I felt like I wanted to add what type of alien gear he would use or maybe his ship but this is as far as I could get at the moment so I'll call this finished for now. On to the next one!

Here's what I have so far. I'm not sure if it's done. feedback welcome.

German Anvil

First layer of water color. Need better lighting.

A for Alien

I'm designing an alien! I'm leaning towards possibly a video game protagonist so I tried to create characters that I would like to play myself as well as getting certain designs out of my head to see how much I can push my character design skills. So far I'm liking the bottom row most so I might go with one of those guys.

Arctic Tomb Update

Hey guys, I did some refining and added some things. I had fun working on it so far. Let me know what you think.
German Anvil with "Church Windows." Need to figure a pleasing setting, and item configuration, but it should be fun to paint the metal texture.

Arctic Tomb lay-in

So here's the first lay in for the arctic tomb. Let me know what you guys think!

Arctic Tomb

Hey guys, here are some thumbnails for the arctic tomb. I like the idea of a tomb being carved into the side of a mountain so I went with that. So far I like the shots that are pulled back more; 1,5 and 6. I'm still gathering reference and I'm going to take it into photoshop. Let me know what you think.

A is for Archer

Very original, I know :)

Anyway, Here are some thumbnails exploring silhouette and gesture for now. I think I like the third from the left the most.
